We started on the tools, on residential construction sites across the Northern Rivers — framing, waterproofing, tiling, fit-off. Years of that teaches you something a showroom never will: which details fail, which ones last, and where a bathroom quietly goes wrong long before anyone notices.
What pushed us into full renovations was watching homeowners get handed around. A tiler blaming the plumber. A waterproofer nobody could reach. Three weeks turning into three months with no one accountable for the whole thing.
So we built the business we would have wanted as a client: one licensed builder responsible for the entire job, from the first measure to the final walkthrough.

A bathroom is the hardest-working room in the house. It gets wet every day, it gets used before anyone is properly awake, and it has to keep looking good through all of it.
So we build for the tenth year, not the handover photo. Compliant waterproofing done once. Falls that actually drain. Silicone lines and tile junctions that still look deliberate long after we have gone.
Most of our work now comes from past clients and their neighbours. That is the only review metric we pay attention to.
